It is how you integrate your values into your daily working and personal life which will add significantly to your personal satisfaction at work. If you know your values try this:
- For each of your values, brainstorm how you are currently bringing these to your work right now, and how you demonstrate them with your colleagues, manager, customers, suppliers and peers. Then consider how you could be doing more of this on a day to day basis.
- Apply your personal values to your Personal Brand – how do your personal values make you stand out in the workplace?
- What is one small thing you can do today at work which is in line with your values?
The more time you spend on thinking about your career and activating your career plan, the more control you have over your own career satisfaction and success!
